PODs: Before you arrive...

The PODP is a challenging course and a lot is expected of those

on it. Prior to arrival individuals would be wise to engage with

their Chain of Command to help them prepare. Observing a Platoon

Commander for a day, reading their staff work, and practicing writing

short timed essays would all be of benefit. If needed, help with

spelling, grammar and basic essay writing is always available

from your local education centre although more time is devoted

to this on the course.
